Nick heads up EQ Global and is responsible for driving business growth in the UK and instilling a culture of innovation across the fintech space. Nick’s track record of growing businesses and developing innovative products in the financial services sector includes six years at Citigroup, where he was most recently responsible for growing the bank’s fintech and payments portfolio of clients, as well as their product suite, after joining the bank to build out their mid-cap Corporate Foreign Exchange sales business. As a leading provider of foreign exchange and cross-border payments services to businesses, EQ Global is continuing to evolve and Nick is instrumental in defining new markets and facilitating the growth of the product portfolio.
Neil is responsible for developing the strategic vision of the EQ Global’s product offering. Neil ensures that our business is at the forefront of payment industry trends and delivers a road map of product developments that has defined our payment technology as market-leading. With several years of banking and financial services experience and over 20 years specifically dedicated to the growth of UK foreign exchange payment companies, Neil offers extensive knowledge in foreign exchange, payments and cash management services which continues to drive advancements in our payment solution. Neil’s previous roles included Founder and Director of TransGlobal Payment Solutions prior to the acquisition by Equiniti, Operations Director of Custom House Financial Services in the UK and Senior FX Dealing positions at Travelex UK.
Thomas Campbell heads up the sales team and is responsible for driving and leading new business acquisition for the organisation. Thomas is responsible for instilling confidence within organisations that EQ Global is the leading international payment provider in the market. New business growth is fundamental to any organisation who is looking to grow exponentially, which Thomas and his sales team are working hard to ensure.
Thomas has been leading sales teams and delivering corporate foreign exchange solutions for the past six years. He has worked at Western Union Business Solutions as a corporate execution dealer and most recently at Ebury, where he headed up the UK sales team.
Mike is Trading Director at EQ Global and is responsible for all liquidity provider relationships and key banking partner relationships.
Mike’s long and successful track record within the FX and global payments sector started at Travelex where he spent a very exciting six years before joining Custom House where he was instrumental in creating high achieving sales and trading teams. Custom House was acquired by Western Union in 2007. Mike then decided he needed a new challenge and was asked to join a new start up called TransGlobal Payment Solutions where he spent the next eight years until TransGlobal was acquired by EQ Global.
As a leading provider of foreign exchange and international payments services to businesses, EQ Global is continuing to evolve and Mike is instrumental in managing all things FX and risk management.
Andy has worked in financial services for over 30 years and managed payrolls for 2.2m pensioners for six years before establishing Equiniti's global payments services in 2011. He now heads up operations at EQ Global and is a regular speaker at industry events across the financial services sector and has been listed as Payroll World’s ‘Payroll Top 50’ professionals on a number of occasions. He is helping to drive growth for EQ Global and ensure the smooth operational management of the business, its technology and its clients.
Aftab, as the in-business Compliance Officer, is responsible for developing and implementing a best-in-class sustainable Financial Crime Compliance programme. As the Head of FCC, Aftab’s role is not only to ensure compliance with our regulatory obligations but to provide expert guidance to encourage business conduct by and for EQ Global based on responsible and ethical behaviour. With previous experience built through delivering large-scale compliance change programmes for a number of mainstream banks, Aftab’s leadership and direction in this area helps identify and implement best practices in compliance risk mitigation. Aftab’s role is integral to increasing business growth and efficiency whilst promoting a safe and stable business environment.
Josh runs the Financial Control team at EQ Global. Having started his career working for TransGlobal Payment Solutions, he has devoted himself to the growth of the company, up to and following its acquisition by Equiniti. After joining the settlements department he graduated to managing teams across accounts and operations before moving into his current role. He can draw upon a great deal of knowledge from within the business having installed EQ Global’s systems upon its founding in 2011, and continues to contribute to its enhancements.
In his current role, he is responsible for the management of finance and accounting operations. His function in facilitating the work done by other departments is key to the safeguarding of company assets, and ensuring the delivery of company objectives.
